The handle has been tested to 200,000 cycles, this allows for the assurance of the quality of the finish as well as the performance of the handle over time. The sprung lever can also be reduced to accommodate a wider range of locks. This is particularly useful for narrower doors where the cylinder is further away from the door. A shortened lever is also an ideal choice for doors that have latches that can be activated by the thumb turn located on the inside.
Lever Pad
The lever pad upvc handle is distinct from the lever handles found on most doors. These handles are operated by one spindle or two spindles, either inline or offset. They are usually used on UPVC doors with double glazing and come in a variety of finishes & variations.
The handles are available in various finishes, including White chrome, and Gold. The finish is BS EN 1670 Grade 5 and resistant to corrosion. This gives the handle an outstanding performance and long-lasting durability for its intended use.

The backplate fixing centers of 211mm allow for a larger size handle that can often be a benefit in replacing a defective or worn multi-point door lock mechanism. These levers for handles are also spring-loaded, thereby solving the issue of door handles sagging out of their horizontal position when not in use.
It is essential to ensure that the dimensions of the PZ for both the multipoint lock as well as the uPVC doors when choosing a replacement UPVC spindle and handle. This measurement can also be called 'handle centres or cylinder centre'. It is important to match the right handles.

Euro Cylinder
Cylinder locks are usually used on uPVC doors, but can also be found on other types of door. Cylinder locks are operated with a key that unlocks the cylinder's casing. This reveals pins that can be aligned to those inside the lock and allow them to rotate the revolving camera, thereby opening the door. Euro cylinders can be fitted with up to six pins with both internal and external doors usually needing different levels of security.
The choice of cylinder is crucial. It's dependent on the amount of use your doors and handles receive. For instance, doors that are external should be fitted with a more secure cylinder while doors inside can be secured with the standard cylinder. Certain cylinders are equipped with additional features that increase security, like anti-drill or anti-bump properties.
A euro cylinder must be measured correctly to ensure it is the correct size for your door. The cylinder needs to be measured from the screw hole in the center to the ends of the cylinder. This includes the thumb turn, should there be one. It is best to do this with the lock in place however, if this is not possible, you can remove it to take measurements. It is essential to ensure that there is no cylinder that extends beyond the handle or escutcheon. This can make it vulnerable to snapping lock attacks.
Most modern cylinders are made with bump and anti-drill features included in their design. upvc replacement door handles are designed to reduce attack chances by forcing the cylinders to turn in a different direction. This can to deflect attacks and keep your door safe.
There are also cylinders that have been constructed to withstand snapping. This is a more frequent type of attack on cylinders, where the break line inside the lock is targeted using a special tool to break the front of the cylinder and allow the door to open. This is a lot faster and less difficult than opening the door with multipoint locks and leaves little evidence of a burglary, which could hinder the insurance claim.
